You MUST read all the following before sending entries.

1. Cost of entry is £15 per person.
a) This cost is to cover the cost of prizes and organisation. It is not a cost of addmitance to the Crofton Halls.

2. Payment can either be made by Cheque, Cash or Bank Transfer.

On the back of the cheque, or a seperate compliment slip you must include the following information.

I will then send details of the bank to transfer the money too.

3. Age requirements

a) Anyone under 14 years of age on the 25th August 2007 may NOT enter.

b)Anyone aged 14-15 may enter but MUST either
:-have written permission from a parent or guardian to attend the competition. EDIT: Please request the parental consent form from me. I can PM or e-mail you the form.
:-have a parent or guardian coming to the competition. This parent/guardian does not have to pay to attend, unless they are ofcourse also competing.

c) Anyone aged 16+ can enter.

4. Refunds/Cancellations

a) If the competition is cancelled for any reason (lack of numbers etc.) everyone will recieve a 100% refund

b) If you can not make the competition every effort will be made to refund the money. This is not a guarantee though. You should consider all payments as non refundable. The closer to the competition you pull out the less likely you are to get a refund as the money is likely to have been spent or allicated to specific costs.

5. Entry Details

a) Entries can be sent from today.
b) Entry closes on 11th August 2007
c) There is a limited number of places available (due to Health and Safety Issues) so please apply quickly. Once the places have been filled all other applications will be returned. So please apply quickly.#
d) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to send in entries as quickly as possible. I don't really want to recieve a whole load on 11/08/07. In reality if in 3 weeks time i still only have a handful of entries i will have to cancel, and i REALLY don't want to do that.


6. Prizes

These will depend 100% on the number of entries. If we have a low number there could possibly be no prizes, if we hit the maximum number of people possible there will a LOT of various prizes.

7. Judges/Officals

Not sure what to call them . If though you would like to apply to be an officail at the competition please reply to this thread or send me a PM. I'm afraid you will still need to pay the £15 entry fee though. To be considered as a Judge you MUST be a registered user of these forums and be known to powerball.com community.
Please don't be offended if you are not selected. How many officials I need will depend on the number of entries.

8. Location/Times

a) The event is being held at Crofton Halls in the Small Hall. The address is :-

It is situated literally next door to Orpington train station. If you come out of the station on the platform 1/2 side (there are 8 platforms) the halls are right infront of you across the station car park.
If you intend to drive the Halls have a large car park, so parking isn't a problem.

b) - You may arrive from 10:30am onwards.
- You may register any time between 10:30am and 1:00pm
- Official competition commences at 11:30am
- Official competition ends at 2:30pm
- Awards/Prizes/Winners will be announced at 3:00pm.
- Hall MUST be vacated by 3:30pm at the latest

c) There will not be any food or drink laid on, and as it stands you cannot bring any food into the hall. As far as I'm aware (I will clarify) bringing your own drinks in is acceptable. If there is any problems with this I will have to make sure refreshments are supplied as we all know powerballing is thirsty work.

9. Other

Any other queries, or clarification you need please either PM me or post here. DO NOT post about suggestions for the competition etc. there is another thread for that. Purely post here if you feel I have missed something important or want clarification.

I will make amendments to the above if needed - I will make it clear what I have edited.

Also I will be keeping accounts for all the money I recieve and how it is spent. If anyone wants copies of these after the competition is complete please let me know. This event is being run so as to make NO profit. If there is any excess money it will be held for a future competition.

Yes I agree. It would make the competition a lot more intense with the young French guys getting them sick 90s enduro scores.

Unfortunately this has now been cancelled anyway, as all those people who said they were interested have backed out.

I think the Powerball community is widespread and it's hard to get them together...

Maybe a local advertisement around the meeting point would have helped?
Anyway, we'll have to wait an official one now...
