Discussion about 90s techniques for the new scoreboards

yea i can imagine...

its good to discuss all these things before making decisions

for what its worth i definaltely dont think there should there be two score boards as this would probably creat mored problems than its worth...
if there was a differntial made between the thechniques by means of a colour then i guess that wouldnt be too bad but aslong as the scores are all given the same recognition.

I made a single scoreboard for my "Maximum Potential" thread, and I just highlight with Italics those who use the technique. Works for me. (But if I had two scoreboards then I'd be in first place on one of them!!)

one score board is all that is needed, 2 would just be reason to add another and another, soon we would have 20 score boards for everything from how to hold the PB to switching hand technique. I will admit i dont care for the ED technique (it can damage such a great product) but i dont care if other people use it. Personally i like to push myself really hard and that isnt possible with the ed technique so i dont use it. To be honest i am suprised that Rory endorses this technique because that is all the more PB's that he has to repair.

I would imagine the sphere and band cost pence and they sell the powerball for £24.99, then how many people get bored and stop using it when it sounds rough, they must be raking it in.

And some people just buy a second one only for 90s, then a third just because they always need a perfect powerball for their speed runs...

If we had to discard the techniques that damage a Powerball at speed a lot of techniques won´t be "legal", and there are no different scoreboards for different techniques at speed.
So, I think that at endurance it doesn´t matter a lot if you use a technique that is damaging your Powerball, it´s your problem if the powerball breaks, because you´ll have to buy a new one...
Anyway I understand the people that doesn´t want one single scoreboard because the Edouard´s Technique is not the same as making the 90s of endurance all the time.
I don´t really mind if there are 2 boards or just one with different colors for each technique.
