|
|
Hi, I just joined this site . I've had my Powerball for a week now, but I've hit a very frustrating barrier! No matter what, I cannot break 10k, the ball just vibrates itself slowly off my hands, and I always top out at 9600 or so. I know I can do it, because I had 10.4k, but how the heck do you spin it faster? Sometimes it seems like it's going at Mach 10 and I look at the couunter and it will say 7k, other times, I do it so lazily and it gets to 9.5k, any tips? How do you pulse, that's another thing? And does anybody else get sweaty palms |

Powerballing is a combination of strenght, firm grip (so sweaty hands is a problem), technique, concentration, dedication, and last but not least a properly functioning powerball.
So, from here, it is quite difficult to judge which is the limiting factor in your situation.
Obviously, you would like the last item (quality powerball) by letting an experienced powerballer test yours.
Regards,
The Force _________________ Personal records:

It's nice to see others progressing slowly, because I always do. Got my first Powerball (Neon) back in November 2004 and it took me a good few months to get to 11800. Then I got an old 250Hz and hit 12006 first go, but it was at least a month before I did that again. (It's a shame they've updated the dates on the Powerballs.com Score Admin Pages...I can see all the submissions I made to various scoreboards years ago, but the dates have all gone - would've been interesting to look back at my progressions.)
I did go from 12006 to 12802 in one go, but since then I've only upped my score by a few hundred at a time, with months between each improvement. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

I'm normally into doing that sort of thing myself. I've got a list of all the kites and kite-stuff I've ever bought and sold, I've got the Top 400 and UK Mini-League scoreboards in Excel, I've got the "Maximum Potential" and "250Hz to 250Hz Comparison" scoreboards in a multi-sheet spreadsheet too, but I never thought about putting my own Powerball progression into a spreadsheet. All my scores, from 11283, are on the Powerballs.com Admin tool, but since Enda changed the date function the other day all the dates are appearing as DD-MM-YYYY. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)
