For sure it's easier to read...

Some people are not clever enough to multiquote... LOL
Yeah right....

A Multi-Quote is when you post several successive messages, rather than making lots of quotes all in a single message. I assume YoD4 fixed MJ's post.
Hahaha....
And btw...now that you insulted me....you're gonna pay for it. I am gonna take over your 1st position in Gyrotek

Nah....90sec strength index doesn't count. That's for those weak guys not being able to reach high speeds

Well...you might be above me for a longer time. For some reason I am not in good shape since a month. Viral infection, .... whatever..I don't feel too well. I remember the moment where I reached 14204rpm..it felt as if I had even power left. And that is not what I feel these days reaching scores between 12500 and 13500.

Steven, i would say you need to recover from your infection, and all the hard training, take a week or 2 off, or at least use it only for rehabilitation (4000-7000 RPM) a break will help you i think. Good luck _________________ MAX SPEED:

If you make a rest, or if you train with less intensity for some days I think that it could be good, because you´ll gain strength, at least that is what I think. If you have trained hard for a long period you need time to recover, and during these days you´ll gain strength.
For example Pako, the Spanish boy scoring 14k+, had a period of relax with his right hand because he hurted that arm, and after that period he made his new personal record.

A rest for a few weeks is probably a good idea. I've had breaks of several weeks at a time, and it's not done any harm. Helps a bit sometimes in fact. (And it will mean I stay ahead for a couple more weeks!!) _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

That's right: I had to rest my right arm for almost 3 weeks. I only trained very intense with left hand, and only 10000 rpms max with right hand (mainly to acquire a nice speed before letting left hand do the dirty job).
On tuesday I felt my right arm was in good condition to resume my training, and I thought I would need several days to get back into shape. But my right arm got into "hot" mode rather quickly, and I broke my record.
Of course, "man is the only animal to trip twice over the same stone", so, I did it again: after achieving my record, I pushed too hard and too long (almost 5 hours) and now I have a lot of pain in my fingers of right hand. I can hardly click with the mouse. I look like an olddie with arthritis. hahahah.
Anyway, I hope to recover in 1 week, and then maybe my next aim may become true: to reach 14Ki = 14336.
(14K = 14*1000 ; 14Ki = 14*1024 = 14336)

Well, Pako, congrats with your 14k+ record first of all.
I'll take all the advices into account and take some rest period (training at very moderate level).
Hopefully I will then get back and pulver my records
Regards,

In my powerball "career" I had to rest my arm 4 months (4 time one month) because of tendonitis and inflammations but my skill is still there (and I was even better after a long rest and a few training days) so don't worry about it, I think it's important have good rests ! _________________ ^v^ Shazam ^v^

After a long rest you probably will find you're slow, but you'll quickly improve again. I hit 13241 back in March or April 2005, and used the Powerball quite rarely from then on until I discovered this site, and started training hard again. After only a week or two I was back up to form, and then topped 13500.
So, I'm now going to rest completely until next Wednesday evening, for the chat session, and then I'll stop using the Powerball for the rest of the month. (I need to use my time better in the evenings anyway, as I'm moving house at the beginning of December. With the Powerball spinning and the computer running I can waste an entire evening...time I should be spending packing and what-not!) _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)
