Son contados los latinos que participan en este deporte, sin embargo es un gusto para mi ver que sea una mujer latina la pionera femenina, y sinceramente pienso que va a ser dificil igualarte, ya veras que pronto romperas la barrera de los 13K RPM.

Oye tus manos son mas grandes que las mias, de la forma que tu tomas la bola es imposible para mi tocar el rotor con cualquiera de mis dedos.

Olvide decirte que eres muy linda... aunque seguramente ya lo sabes.

Nice video MJ, (though my connection dropped before it was completely downloaded, and now it won't work from the office, where it would download in a few seconds!).

As Shazam says, it's interesting how you rotate your wrists in a different manner...both anti-clockwise. Everyone else I know rotates one wrist clockwise and the other anti-clockwise, so each hand is basically making the same motion.

Most people do "Wax on...wax off". You do "Wax on...sand the floor"!

If you can really concentrate on moving your hands less, you'll start to see those scores rising. (Not that you have ANY other females challenging you of course!)

Thanks for all your messages of support.
About my particular way of rotation, when I started to practise Powerball I made better scores with my left hand, but I started to practise other rotations and I discovered that the combination of these rotations was the best way for me. With my right hand making an anti-clock rotation I can reach the highest speed.
I think that all is about practising, so you can find a good technique.

Gracias a los chicos latinos que habéis escrito. Me alegra saber que también hay más latinos por aquí.

Yesterday I made new records with the 90s exercise using just one hand and with the 60s exercise using my left hand.

These are my current records:

90s left hand -> 12961 (new)
90s right hand -> 13077 (new)
90s both hands -> 15017
60s left hand -> 9112 (new)
60s right hand -> 9590
60s both hands -> 10206
30s left hand -> 5096
30s right hand -> 5350

As you can see I can score higher with the right hand, but it was just because of the change of rotation, at the beginning when I made clock rotations the left hand scored higher.

There seem to be also people who rotate clockwise with the left hand and anti-clockwise with the right hand? When I try that, I can't even reach 10000rpm

The way you do it just depends on how you first started doing it. When I got stuck on 12800 I decided to change my "direction". At first I couldn't even do 10000, but I soon worked up to 11800.

One thing's for sure...with my IronPower steel I can go faster and get a much better action by rotating my wrist in the direction I'm not used to. Don't know why.

I wish I could improve as quickly as you are, MJ. I haven't got anywhere near my 17234 90s record for ages. But I did improve my 60s record yesterday, to 11494. 12000 in 60s is my current target.

EDIT: Just watched the video...your technique has improved a lot, MJ. You move your hands a lot less now, and it looks like less effort too. 15500 soon?
