Your scores in your signature are interesting Steven. Mostly better with your left hand, but better with your right hand on a 90s endurance. Until recently I was quicker with my left for top speed, but better with my right for all endurance, but now all my records are with my right hand.
Try seeing what sort of scores you can get for 30s, 60s and 90s endurance with having the Powerball stationary when you start the counter. I don't know anyone else who's managed over 15,000 revs from a standing start, (though no doubt Akis could do over 17,000!!!) _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

Yes, that's right. I held a bit of a competition at another forum I go to, and those were the two rules. Wind the string up, start the counter, get a good grip and then go for it with one hand.
Only me and one other person managed over 5,000 revs in 30s, and I was the only one to do over 10,000 revs in 60s and over 15,000 revs in 90s. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

Ok, I'll give it a try this weekend.
5000 rotations in 30 sec, standing start must be doable.
My record is 6134 rotations 30sec (I have a video of that one..I'll put it online tonight).

For the moment it's not possibe to upload a video directly on our site, but I ll take it when it's available on your server...
I think I'll add it on the video page if it's a good quality video, and by the way I could add your 90s record too...
For the start in every endurance mode, don't forget the goal is to do the highest score, so you have to start first your powerball and then the counter, I don't think there will be a lot of difference on a 30s score if you use one or two hands...
If you do a one hand record, keep it in your other hand, start the counter and switch quickly to begin your run, the counter really starts only a few seconds after you pushed the button...

If I click on Img..it just write [Img] and I do not know what to type after it.
For the two-hand endurance mode (as you can see on the video on powerballs.com) I first spin the rotor up to high speeds, then switch on the counter and then go for it, just like you say.
Is it allowed to do a 1-hand run while starting the rotor with your finger? Or is string start obligatory?

Now you confused me...I though that for the 1-hand run, the purpose was to first start the counter and then go for your record.....
So...
90sec - both hands:
1) start PB
2) set counter in right mode (90 sec)
3) increase PB speed
4) reset counter
5) GO GO GO :-)
And
30/60/90 sec - single hand:
1) set counter in right mode (30 sec/60 sec/ 90 sec)
2) start PB (finger or string????)
3) GO GO GO
Correct??
