Didn't want to be the first!
Tim Bridle, England. 34-years old, divorced, but about to buy a house with my girlfriend. No children...just a dog! (He was in the 17178-90s video I took, but the 17141-90s one was better, so submitted that one instead, to make official my 17,234 score!)
Work for the local council as an IT Consultant. Play a bit of badminton, but my main hobby is powerkiting. Big kites that drag you along the ground and lift you up into the air, (though at my age this can be quite dangerous!). Intend to try kitesurfing next year.
Rather embarassed to say I've been Powerballing since about July 2004. Took me 4 months to reach 12991, then 5 months to reach 13241, then 6 months to reach 13476. Though to be fair, I've not been using it that much. I have moments where I do a lot of practicing, and usually up my records, so I'll stick with it this time and see how far I can go.
First saw a Powerball in about 2001, when some colleagues at work brought one in and had a competition, but I didn't get to try it then.
Drive a black Nissan Almera 2.0 Gti, but looking to upgrade to something Turbo-Diesel-ish.

Name Mark Chaplin
I am 25 year old, i am engaged no date set yet dont have the funds, i have 1 child, I am an Electrical Engineer, i enjoy playing Golf, and soccer, i also use my powerball a lot.
Powerball experience: Well i have had it over 3 years, i used it a lot for about 4-5 months when i first got it, and was able to get a score of about 13200. But then i moved and it got packed in a box and put in a storage place for a like 2 years. Then July of this year i found that box when i was unpacking some stuff that i found in my garage. So i started using it again and i hit the 13000's within a day. That inspired me to keep using it and by august i got into the 14000's for the first time with a 14200. Then by september i got that 14651 to win september. Then by october i got that 15188. During these 4 months i have been using the powerball about a half hour to an hour a day.

Hi all,
It's good to be part of your community. A very warm welcome I must say. And your scores are all amazing, I must confess.
In order to celebrate my entrance in Gyrotek, I submitted my score in your minileague on Powerballs.com. Or was this mini-league meant for French Powerballers only? Just let me know and I'll ask to remove my name from that league.
Best regards,
Steven van Dijk _________________ Personal records:

We like to think Gyrotek more like a community than a matter of nationality!
We'd be proud to have the best powerballers of the world in our league...
If you beat shazam, maybe he will have more interest in the competition again!! Moreover it's always better to be able to speak like friends with the nearest competitors, isn't it? :-D _________________ Help Gyrotek when you buy your Powerballs, use our banner:International, France, Thanks!!

Glad to "meet" you Mark, and well done on your recent achievements. It's nice to hear that you've had a Powerball quite a long time...I get a bit disheartened when I hear about people who've had a Powerball only a few months and can hit 14,000! Had mine a little over a year. Used it a lot for the first five or six months and got to 12991, but then hit a wall. Have recently started again now that the 90s Strength Index competitions have appeared, as that's more my thing really.

Hi Steven,
I have an old and well used 250Hz, with a rotor that doesn't have the counter-weight. I also have a new 250Hz. The old one has always been quicker, but it's very worn out and the grip is loose, so I've swapped the rotors.
In addition to those I have an IronPower Metal, with two rotors...a light aluminium one and heavy steel one. So really I have four.
I think I will get a proper Metal one when they come out. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)
