14624 at the chat last night. Was on speed AND endurance form really, but not Metal...no big record there like the last time I got a big 250Hz record unfortunately. (Such a shame...last time I got a big 250Hz record I made almost exactly the same improvement with the Metal. Had I done that last night I would have hit over 13k with the Metal!)

Tried some runs standing up at the chat last night, and weirdly my technique changed. When sitting I normally have my hand straight down by my side, then as I speed up I lean my right shoulder forward, which sort of pushes my right hand backwards. A while back, when I hit 14433, I noticed my hand moving forwards.

Anyway, standing up I started as though I was sitting down...hand down by my side, but as I sped up my arm moved forward quite a lot. As it rose up, so did the speed. It was sort of a combination of techniques...a bit of RoLin, a bit of Gunit8, but mostly Dennis. (I even added a bit of full-body anti-clockwise rotation, like Dennis does.)

Not a record, (though Spectro shows it as faster than my 14624, which is the graph on the right of the two), but this new technique is going to become standard for my speed runs I think. It's the final burst of speed I gave it in that run above...Spectro shows quite a steep rise immediately before I peaked.

I used to do the whole "Dennis" thing, it used to work quite well for me.
